4.6 Any and all possible changes will be announced on the event's official page, as well as on the organizing entity's social media.

5. COMPETITION SYSTEM

5.1 These regulations are grounded in the Game of Capoeira (Jogo da Capoeira), aiming to achieve the objectives of capoeira; therefore, the ultimate goal of these regulations will always be a clean and fair contest, preserving the aspects of capoeira's traditional strategies, consecrated by the ginga and characteristic devices.

5.2 The competition system will be single elimination, in which competitors will play up to 03 (three) games against each other, to the rhythm of São Bento Grande da Regional, with the best player of the dispute advancing.

5.3 After each game, competitors will be evaluated by the evaluation referees based on the following criteria:

– Harmony: Refers to the synchronism between the singer, musical instruments, the ensemble's chorus, and the execution of movements in accordance with the cadenced beat of the berimbau.

– Technique: Correct execution of the movements of the São Bento Grande da Regional game, seeking the perfect execution of the movements characteristic of said game, their effects and typical swings.

– Volume of play: This concerns the execution of movements that show a refined style of knowledge and the objectivity with which they are employed, always developing one's game according to the opponent's game, maintaining harmony between attack and defense.

– Objectivity: This concerns the development of moves or strikes, always targeting the opponent and the achievement of scoring in the game.

Sole paragraph: There will also be 1 (one) Central Referee to coordinate the entry, exit, and development of each game.

6. COMPETITIONS

6.1. Before the start of each category's competition, a roda lasting a maximum of 10 (ten) minutes will be held, with no bearing on the competition, which competitors may or may not use to warm up.

6.3. All categories will compete in previously drawn pairs (opponents), up to three (03) games lasting 45 (forty-five) seconds, to the rhythm of São Bento Grande da Regional, where the winner of two (02) games, the winner of the first game and a tie in the second game, or a tie in the first game and the winner of the second game, will remain in the dispute according to the bracket draw (single-elimination system).

6.4. In the event of an odd number of competitors in the category, the competitor who loses the first dispute may return to the competition through a draw among the competitors (repechage system). The same criterion will be adopted for the subsequent stages of the competition, until 4 finalists remain in the category.

6.5. There will be no tie in the third game, that is, in the case of a tie resulting from the first and second games, the evaluation referees must decide the winner at the end of the third game.

6.6. The winner (champion) of each category will be the one who advances through all stages of the competition until they remain the sole winner; the runner-up of the category will be the opponent who loses the best-of-three games dispute in the final stage; the third place will be the winner of the best-of-three games dispute between 3rd and 4th place.

6.7. At the start of each set of three games (best of three), the players will receive distinct color identifications. At the end of each game, each evaluation referee will raise a flag of the color of the competitor judged the winner, or, in the case of a tie, will raise both flags. The winner of that game will be the one who receives more flags relative to their opponent.

7. DISCIPLINARY ORDER

7.1. The execution of strikes will be carefully observed for their conditions of application, intention, and intensity, so as to never subjugate the opponent. Under no circumstances will strikes that harm the physical integrity of the opponent be accepted, nor will violent attitudes during the matches be accepted.

7.2. In order to maintain disciplinary order, the following penalties will apply:

– YELLOW CARD: A warning to the competitor for attitudes incompatible with these regulations, applicable a maximum of two times; should the situation persist, the competitor will be excluded, or it will be used in the event of a tie.

– RED CARD: Disqualification and expulsion of the competitor from the competition, regardless of whether or not previous warnings were applied.

7.4. It will be up to the referees to judge any flagrant cases of unsportsmanlike or unethical intent presented by any participating competitor, resulting in the application of a yellow or red card, as well as to intervene in the ongoing match if they judge the incident to require immediate intervention, or if, on the other hand, the competitor cannot continue.

8.2. The central referee is responsible for the start and end of the game. After the start of each game, the Central Referee must remain positioned outside the areas marked for the competitions, interfering in the game as little as possible, entering the Playing Area only in cases where they judge that intervention is necessary in the interest of preventing unethical behavior or behavior that may generate violence, as well as to call attention in cases of lack of continuity of the game or deficient technical condition.
